Opening for: Business Analyst

Work location: New York, NY

Responsibilities: Conduct advanced computers systems performance analysis and capacity planning for customizing RSG’s proprietary software to meet our clients’ needs; Interview clients in various industries, to gather business requirements and analyze their internal decision-making processes; Capture systems requirements after interview and continuously liaise with clients to fully understand end results and reports required; Re-engineer clients’ information systems, to ensure that resources are used efficiently and systems fully support business needs; Develop technical system specifications in accordance with clients’ processes and needs, to capture data in data warehouses developed specifically to meet clients’ needs; Develop sets of ready-made reports per requirements, and retain ad hoc reporting functionality for occasional custom report; Develop content management platforms for clients’ websites and e-commerce shops, and develop GUIs accordingly using HTML and related technologies; Develop data collection and business systems analysis plans to ensure analytically sound recommendations to Managers and IT specialist; Design databases using ER modeling, data mart build, cubes design, SQL and PL/SQL; Design and develop advanced information systems security software; Assist in the development of end user training manual for applications developed.

Requirements: M.Sc. (Information Systems, related), or B.Sc. with 5 years of related professional experience (accepting US or foreign equivalent degrees)

Job Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities: Gather client requirements and analyze strategy and workflow for Smartphone application development, in Java/J2EE environment and Win/Linux/Mac/Symbian OS;  Track Test Plans/Test Specification against software requirements;  Identify quality issues during the production process, and communicate to Developers to ensure resolution of noncompliance issues;  Review and update project process to adhere to Corporate process and product quality assurance, to include Quality Assurance and Process Improvement Plans;  Create Activity Diagrams and workflow diagrams to reflect business processes, and analyze them for QA and efficiency;  Plan and perform system testing and User Acceptance Testing, using the most appropriate testing tools (Quick Test Pro, Quality Center, Test Director);  Implement Automated Testing Framework, using QTP;  Maintain Process and Product Quality Assurance records for internal use and to develop Best Practices.

Requirements: M.Sc. (CS/CE/rel. field), or B.Sc. with 5 years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities: Consult with Project Leaders and Managers of business units to prepare project plans, including timeframes, resources and technologies required, to ensure the smooth completion of RSG’s .NET projects;  Assist in drafting project proposals, including schedule, funding, support in vendor decision and contract design;  Provide technical advice to Software Developers and Programmers, and develop various software modules for our proprietary software, using .NET (VB/ASP/C#), on ERP platforms;  Review and analyze clients’ business specifications to determine business flow and provide project timeframes to RSG’s Business Analysts and Testers;  Draft specification documentation for development and customization of Rightslogic™ and XPeranto™ software;  Design software controls’ logic and patterns;  Test and debug applications.
