RSG Media Sponsors Henry Stewart DAM NY 2011

NEW YORK – RSG Media Systems (http://www.rsgmedia.com/), a leading provider of software applications to manage intellectual property in the media and entertainment industry, has agreed to sponsor the Henry Stewart DAM NY 2011 conference taking place in New York on June 8-9 at the Hilton New York.

Henry Stewart DAM NY is annual meeting in the city that brings together area digital asset management practitioners from a wide range of companies with diverse experiences of digital asset management as a core business function. The 2011 conference includes a mix of common themes – from lessons learned in DAM procurement to the challenges of digital content work flow and to monetizing assets in new and innovative ways.

 The RSG hosted panel: Rights Management: Problems and Solutions (moderated by Peri Shamsai, Snr. Manager of Media & Entertainment at Ernst & Young) explores ways to build revenue opportunities through content provisions, while minimizing legal risks and administrative costs, in a business environment where companies are moving to take a structured and integrated approach to rights management. The panel members will offer advice on which approaches to their content management and distribution systems worked well for capturing and exploiting structured rights information. Panelists include:
 Chad Beer, Director of Digital Assets and Rights Management, American Express Publishing; Greg Fioravanti, VP - Deal & Rights Management, Discovery Communications.

The panel will take place on Thursday, June 9th at 4:25pm at the New York Hilton.
