The Disney Video-on-demand service also known as Disney + is yet to launch. It would focus on film and television content from Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney television. The Disney plus would also feature original films and television series based on new and existing creative works. These films would include content from Disney, 20th Century Fox, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star Wars.


The Disney video-on-demand service is an American subscription streaming service owned by Walt Disney’s Direct-customer and international division. The on-demand service will complement ESPN and Hulu as part of Disney’s strategy of staying on top. The Disney Video-on-demand service or Disney+ is set to shake up the TV streaming market for good.

Where can the Disney Plus app be found? Disney has released the list of platforms that will support Disney Plus at launch. The list includes Apple TV, Roku streaming devices, Google Chromecast, iOS Android, PS4, and Xbox One. It also consists of the Android TV platform that supports Nvidia Shield TV, Sony TVs, and Hisense TVs.

What quality is the Disney plus? Disney + will stream to up to four devices at the same time in 4K resolution and HDR (High Dynamic Range) at no extra charge. It will also stream up to seven user profiles on the platform. However, not all content would be available in 4K or HDR, and of course, you would still need a 4K TV to watch those that would be available at such high quality.
